Relief!

Tears of relief and good feelings that today the new administration took place and all was calm.  What a day!  Biden won’t be able to do everything that needs to be done but we can be confident that he is a decent human being who will lead with truth and science and facts and none of that “alternate fact” business and crazy lies.

Plenty of wonderful tv images on blip...I hope they don’t get taken down for this occasion... but trying not to use the tv, I remembered this American flag in a children’s book edited by Sara Jane Boyers of the song America the Beautiful , written by Katherine Lee Bates and illustrated by Wayne Thiebaud , the artist I mentioned a few days ago on the 15th,.   This wasn’t one that was sung at the inauguration but it could have been.  Edit:  Tookie reminds  me that J Lo did throw in a few of the lyrics from America the Beautiful!   from Sea to Shining Sea,   Glad I found this book to blip,  (Extra)
