Wet and deserted

I think we got off lightly with the weather. It was wet and windy of course but nothing as bad as other parts of the country. I hope you’re all ok where you are.

Are we downhearted? Sometimes, in these dark wet, cold days of mid January with plenty of similar days to come. Certainly this shot feels desolate and forlorn. There’s more of a feeling of optimism with the inauguration of Joe Biden as President. Have the past 4 years been a bad dream?

This morning Susan went of for a session at the bone cracker. She came back suitably manipulated having had a couple of very good cracks which made her feel she had value for money. I was on the phone for 90 minutes or so updating my line manager from the prison service.

We walked into town this afternoon mainly to requisition more ready meals for Doreen as well as a few bits and pieces for us. First trip to town for a month. Very few about as today’s blip of the Royal Star Arcade shows.
