Roads or Rivers?

There's so much water about after another day of torrential rain. It's just got nowhere to go!

The good news is that the Calder Valley seems to have managed to largely avoid any flooding. Just a little at Callis Bridge but nothing to cause too much damage. Phew!

I saw this quote from Charlie Mackesy and I think it's fitting for today.
"The clouds are getting darker" said the boy. "Yes" said the horse, "but do you see they are moving? Sometime soon, they will leave"

Let's hope so to brighter weather days and brighter freedom days!
