Keeping quiet!

Poor little Ivy is recovering today after her op to be spayed yesterday.  All went well and she is recovering nicely.  She is only allowed short walks on a lead for the next 10 days and we need to keep her as quiet as possible.  When the vet told us that, we all laughed uproariously!

She was whining a bit this afternoon so I put the TV on to distract her from the discomfort and also from licking her wound.  She loves watching the telly, especially where animals are involved.  Luckily she was fascinated by the Bowls World Championship today which certainly did the trick of distracting her!
