Wide Wednesday - Local Scene

This is an everyday local scene for Minty and me as we walk through the old quarry field most afternoons. It doesn't always look as dreich and dismal as this, fortunately, but this is the middle of winter. It would have looked prettier covered in snow!

I've been watching the inauguration of President Joe Biden and Vice-President Kamala Harris this afternoon. Let's hope this is a new beginning for the people of the US...
