Written 106 years ago today, Corporal J M Leash could tell the recipient of the postcard little more when he addressed it to Mrs John Wilson, 30 Bridge End, Buckie, Banffshire, Scotland. Writing any more details would result in the paper being destroyed. I cannot find any mention of his war grave so hope that he survived the war to return home and live a fruitful life. Having lost many friends during my time in the military, I know how important getting any information home is, both for the sender and the recipients.
