Hens.

Miss H is now in her new lambing job helping on a local farm lambing 500 ewes. She advertised our pair of white Orpington hens and they sold at once! Apparently the white Orpington’s are quite rare. See extra a photo of white Orpington hen. They had travelled quite a way to get this pair and after a VERY.  Socially distanced exchange off they went to a new home. 

I gave the hens a good dose of new straw today and a nice spruce up all round. Webster seemed ver pleased and crowed very enthusiastically! he has been a good boy for a few days and has not flown over into the adjoins pen!
