Goldfinch

I grew these teasels from seed and waited two years for them to develop. Earlier this summer they flowered and the flowerhead then became a spikey seedpod with seeds that goldfinches love. This was my goal.Here it is, the most colourful and very fleety bird now allowing me to get close and take pictures. Goldfinch on teasel is happy - which translates into polish as: 
Szczygieł na szczeciu jest szczęśliwy - and that is a tongue twister even for a Polish person.
