Sydney Park

The brickworks’s chimneys and kilns stayed after the quarry became a rubbish tip and, thirty years ago, a large park. Now there are hills, wetlands, a city farm, sculptures, children’s playgrounds and a new skate park.

This is the highway entrance. We’re still waiting for the pedestrian crossing next to our apartment block to open.
