high street

In Leicester this morning. Not many people around on this grey damp day. Went into town to buy some material to make a waistcoat for my eldest grandson Tom. He likes to be Doctor Who so he's looking forward to wearing it with a bow tie.
I remember when this street was buzzing with people and all the shops were open. Now half of this street is to let and it's rather sad to see all the empty shops.
