Teen

As anyone who has teenagers can relate, it’s a an emotional seesaw and the moody days often outweigh the happy ones. Today was the latter, instead of a stone face and eye roll, I came back from a nonstop busy work day to ‘ mum is there anything I can do to help with tea?’ The obliging girl continued all evening , poured me a bath and lit her Christmas candle for me too.
Ahhhhh so much easier when there’s no conflict. Thankfully her two brothers kept out of the way and the mood want destroyed by goading and teasing. If only they were always like this!
