The Photoshoot that wasn't!

Decided to take a day away from the office and head down to St Ives today to start my Architecture photoshoots for latest college project. With my plan in mind, well wrapped up, lights, camera, action! Parked up in Station car park so I could enjoy the 'Porthminster' walk before I began ... first photo intended to be of a beautiful 'old fashioned' lamp post ... discovered my SD card was not in the camera, but sitting on my desk at home having taken it out last night to download yesterday's images and forgotten to put it back (not the first time I have done this!).

Lesson 1 - keep a spare in camera bag

Lesson 2 remember to take my brain with me

Lesson 3 if all else fails go for a coffee - which is exactly what I did!

As it turned out I enjoyed a really good 2 hours down and around the town, sussing out potential photos for my project - so all was not lost ...

Found this sign and had to have it for my hallway .....

Back to work now ... maybe tomorrow I will actually get to upload an outdoor photo!
