River Otter

I spent a good part of the morning entertained by this cute River Otter, at Huntley Meadows Park.  It must eat its weight in fish each day as this was just one of many we watched it catch.  Acted very puppy-like, chasing its tail round and round in the water, coming over to the boardwalk and popping his head up curiously to look at the photographers.

Less than 24 hours to go until the Biden inauguration.  My husband had to go downtown today for his second dose of vaccine.  It was quite an ordeal as many of the roads were closed, and the garage he usually parks in was closed as well.  Military and National Guard everywhere.  Jersey walls where he never would have expected them and large trucks placed across many of the intersections.  It really is so alarming and sad to see our beautiful city like this.
