Matt was doing a late shift today, and I was off, so we both got up pretty late. It was so nice to be able to doze.

I didn’t feel great this morning and it was horrible weather outside but I managed to drag myself out for a walk. Went via the post office to collect a parcel, and send Amy’s birthday presents. I also walked up the hill to Tesco to get some things for dinner. I somehow managed to remember all the ingredients for a risotto... but not the risotto rice.

Did a few chores this afternoon, and tried on my new clothes, then had to have another walk in the drizzle to buy rice. It was worth it in the end, dinner was delish.
