Propped

I took advantage of the interval between the heavy rain showers to go for a walk from home.  I walked along the Ellesmere road to where the River Perry goes under the road.  I saw a kingfisher there last time but nothing today.  

I passed this field gate that was propped open - for a tractor I assume.  As you can see, everywhere is very wet and muddy after all the rain and two more days of it is forecast with Storm Christoph on it's way.
