A record shot

Dull all day but at least it was dry!  This was Southchurch Park my chosen venue for a walk today as I had to pick up some shopping nearby for a  friend who needs to stay at home.  This water is still laying around on the surface from the last rain but the seagulls have found something to eat - there were more on the grass than on the lake.  It looks a real mess and I wondered if mono would convey the mood more accurately but strangely it kind of improved it...really?  I'm kidding myself!  
Hope for something more cheering tomorrow but this is a journal and so a record shot has to expected sometimes.
