Flowers of Tan

An unexpected find this morning - a rounded mass of Flowers of Tan (also known as Scrambled Egg or Dog Vomit) slime mould (Fuligo septica) on the sheltered side of an old hornbeam. I didn't notice the black blob at the top until later, it looks like an eye to me but is probably a berry that somehow got embedded in the mould.
