Fathen!

The only pic I’ve taken today so this is IT.

A forest of Fathen (fat-hen) is growing outside the villa area and I’m discovering that it’s got far more uses than I ever realised. It’s a relative of spinach and can be used for human consumption, as well as being good fodder for animals & poultry. I can only imagine what would happen if pigs got loose in there, or chooks.
I made some pesto a few days ago and added some fathen!
