Sun Hat

It's the first "studio" shot in my new apartment, using my fiancé's dress form with one of her favorite hats as the model.  This was lit with a single flash and an octobox, reflected without diffusion.  The new place has fairly long bedrooms that give me the ability to put a lot of space behind objects for those times I want to let the background fade to shadow, though in this one I brought down the shadoes to full black for extra drama.  Looking forward to getting fully settled so I can go on some photo walks again, but I have a few more ideas ready in case I need to do some more shots at home while I finish the move.
