Thankful for the moon

As it was 7pm, dark and I did not have a new photo taken today!    Spent the whole day at Brett's house painting again.    I have the living room halfway finished, have done the touchup in the stairwell and have gotten the kitchen area where I had to prep the bad spots ready for paint later this week.    Brett had the day off so he and Jerry replaced some water damaged boards around the back door.  Good thing it was a little warmer today as the back door was off for about three hours.  But it is good as new now!   I heard Brett, the computer person, tell his Dad " I sure am glad I don't do carpentry for a living!"        

Maggie the dog is so anxious where things are not "normal".  She does not like the noise when construction work is going on.   We had to watch Hank as he was trying to eat all the little wood chips that were made.   I don't know how my son has two dogs with issues.   Maggie's anxiety and Hank is always into something he should not be...and he knows when he does this!   

More painting later this week but we are going to have some nice weather tomorrow and Wednesday so I might have to run away from home on Wednesday to the woods again.
