Family jigsaw time

Slightly later wake up at 5.50 today and it was a quick in and out and the puppy and I were both back in our beds within 10 minutes. Mr PHL got up just after 7 to give the dog his breakfast whilst I snoozed a bit longer.

Headed to the supermarket just after 11 and was pleasantly surprised at the lack of other shoppers. Home by just after 12 and made lunch - leftover chicken sandwiches. Very tasty.

After lunch Mr PHL brought out the jigsaw I’d given him for his birthday and we set to. Took a while but we found all the edge pieces bar one and started putting it together. It’s called Authorly puns and if you zoom in you’ll see what I mean.
I took Phin out for a tramp through the fields - very muddy and wet but he enjoyed meeting another puppy half way round.

Dinner was burger and chips (a favourite of Mr PHL’s) whilst Miss PHL had aubergine and mozzarella bake.

Back to the jigsaw whilst listening to some more of Celtic Connections.
