End of an Era

Tonight, the Board of Directors of the Williamson County Emergency Services District #4 voted 3-1 to terminate the contract between themselves and the Liberty Hill Fire Department, to take possession of the building and apparatus, change the locks, and effectively disband the department. They decided to hire the Assistant Chief and 3 captains, leaving the rest of the firefighters unemployed.

They've already had the Chief and Emergency Medical Services Director arrested on bogus charges.

The ESD's attorney has used this exact same approach to create division and disband the fire department in several other communities around Texas.

This is a travesty.
