It's Sketchbook Monday again. 

I've chosen this page today as it is sort of an example of what I was getting at yesterday, about combining sewn plant textures with more abstract shapes to suggest human-made elements. The hand sewn (orange) bits that I experimented with here won't be making it onto anything else soon, they're crap!  Don't think hand embroidery is my thing, really. On the other hand there are a couple of other ideas in this that might have legs.
