Private Eyes

Just finished reading the latest edition of Private Eye, scandals, jobs for the boys, conflicts of interest, gravy trains, revolving doors from politics to lucrative corporate roles, cover-ups, liars, fraud, double standards, tax evasion and blatant greed, it's compulsive reading as well as depressing.

"Private eyes, they're watching you, they see your every move".

My album of the day is "Live At The Budokan" by Cheap Trick. A yellow vinyl LP stuffed with carefully constructed pop melodies and ear shattering guitars. Text book power-pop but had to go to Japan to make it, my highlight "I Want You To Want Me".
