Dr. Martin Luther King often reminded us that there were two versions of this nation — one full with the “sunlight of opportunity” and the other with a “daily ugliness about it that transforms the buoyancy of hope into the fatigue of despair.” 

 He said, “I know, somehow, that only when it is dark enough can you see the stars. And I see God working . . . that men, in some strange way, are responding.“ Something is happening in our world.”

Something is happening. January 20 is a new day in America.
