Lone Kayaker
Not much to see on the sea, but plenty of people out and about at the front.
As I walked back with Dog I stopped to speak to a lady I’ve not seen for a couple of years. She moved in with her mum (to look after her as she has dementia) around the same time as we moved down here. I learned that in those two years she had been diagnosed with breast cancer, had chemo, radiotherapy and is currently in remission. She had lost one younger sister to pancreatic cancer and another who suffered a massive bleed on the brain. Mum has had COVID and been hospitalised (now home and better). There is always someone worse off than ourselves!
An extra of Mollie on a walk, taken by her mum.
