Eiders in the morning

A fairly early shot of the eider ducks pairing up in the loch for the coming breeding season, another spring sign and I do love the noise they make. I also heard my first Song Thrush of the spring singing.
The sky cleared and we had a good sunrise with time for some woodland walking before the rain set in.
Roast beef for Sunday dinner and a blether to teenager by VC, she has been called to Jury service in Edinburgh which doesn't seem right to call on a student at exam time, could cause her chaos.
