Nice colour, no smell

At 5 degrees and with no wind the morning felt almost balmy. A very laid back day with the papers, slightly less pessimistic than last week even the Observer which seems in constant pursuit of the worst case scenario, which in itself is reassuring. Like the Scot Gov vaccination plan which I managed to read a couple of nights ago before it was taken down, all the planning is based, I gather, on worst case distribution and availability.
Now watching The Victorian Slum, good for getting a perspective on things. And looking forward to Simon Reeve in the Caribbean. Perhaps I should get some of those virtual reality goggles, the science museum does a pair for 6 quid.
I liked the pink of these roses in the common hallway, just past their prime.
