Local news ran an article about two P&O cross channel ferries being laid up in the River Fal and we decided that we’d like to see them. The best place to see them from would be Trelissick, a National Trust property set on its own peninsula, with panoramic views over the Fal estuary.
We booked our slot in the car park and set off on the ‘Woodland Walk’, the path meanders through tree covered coastal paths and across open parkland with views down the estuary to the town of Falmouth.
A three hour walk took an hour and forty-five minutes and the four of us thoroughly enjoyed it, only thing missing, a four legged friend, but we are on the lookout for a new, to us, four legged friend
