River Len at Caring

Sunshine, hurrah! And what a difference it made. People out in their droves. Even the less frequented lanes we use we saw many more than the usual solitary soul.

Today’s blip is of the River Len at Caring Bridge. A different view to previous shots at this spot which are taken from the bridge rather than of the bridge. I had to go a little off the beaten track to take this shot.

Apart from that we didn’t do much. A brunch then the walk. We kept bumping meeting people we knew and stopping for a chat, then there were people from the allotment when we called in there for swede, leeks and cabbage.

Saw some early spring flowers in the verges; primroses, winter? aconites and celandines. There’s a promise that spring is on its way.

Spoke to Chris and Landon in California this evening. Wall to wall warm sunshine out there. We could do with a couple of weeks of that to see us through to spring proper.
