Hardy Snowdrops

I went in search of snowdrops today, not knowing if there would be any out yet. The place I walked to usually has thousands of them by February ( https://www.blipfoto.com/entry/2675856467344491417 ), so I thought I'd just check. There were lots just popping up through the layer of leaves, and only about 3 small clumps in flower like this one. Still, it was worth the effort. I adore a snowdrop, they give me hope.
