Geese

We attended our online service a bit early and then went for a walk before lunch, (the forecast was better earlier).
The sun came out and everywhere looked lovely but underfoot it was pretty icy as it had frozen yesterday's thaw.
We went on the old railway line and had hardly started when these geese flew over, I just had time to get the camera out (there's a pic with them bigger but this one shows more).
It was mostly okay underfoot in the wood, apart from one bit where I managed to sit down, but the car park we had to go through for the return loop was treacherous.
A nice clump of trees in the extra.
Late lunch and then some crafts, now I must go and do some cooking.
It started raining mid-afternoon, though seems to have been a shower (and the washing got wet).
