Birthday Dinner

I’m not proud of the fact, but where we live there are very few official Pandemic restrictions - apart from a reduced occupancy in restaurants and the wearing of masks being encouraged but not strictly enforced. So we have to more or less make up our own rules, which creates all kinds of tensions when there is no consistency.
Nevertheless, we decided, after a lot of consideration that we could fairly safely go out for dinner on my birthday to one of our favorite small independent restaurants. This is “Piattello Italian Kitchen”. It was a very special treat! I had a delicious beet and avocado salad in a citrus vinaigrette and Osso Bucco, which I love, and there were plenty of leftovers to take home!
