Bird Sanctuary

Got up at 5am to catch the snow before it melted. Not much of a sunrise, but it soon turned into a beautiful morning with giant waves pounding the beach.

The bird sanctuary at the end of the beach has suffered serious damage in the recent storm. Later in the year, semipalmated sandpipers and semipalmated plovers will make their nests here.
