After the Storm

The sun suddenly appeared after a day of wind and torrential rain. It was late afternoon. I got in my car and drove to Plum Island in hopes seeing the clouds breaking. It started to briefly rain again but once it stopped the sky was magnificent to look at. The waves were also crashing against the beach.
