Wellie time

I foolishly left my house in trainers for an errands walk. Luckily remembered before the end of the road that wellies would be sensible. They sure were - I had to cross the ankle deep stretch in the extra photo. And for the fun of it, decided to return via the ‘path’ that’s on the left of the main photo, beside the rowing lake - now contiguous with the river. At the low spots it was calf deep. When I got home I discovered unluckily my right foot welly has got a minor leak.
