The High Street.

A wet and gloomy day in Horncastle and a quick visit to the shop for groceries. As it seems we can’t go in together to limit numbers in the shop I have to stand outside with the bags. A great time to look at the architecture of the Georgian buildings. The house on the left was built for Sir Joseph Banks as his town house. Sir Joseph Banks was a main contributor to the Horncastle Canal and many other projects around Lincolnshire.
