and so it begins...

This hasn't been an easy blip to post, and I've avoided uploading it for a couple of weeks: Dad started his chemotherapy today - 4 rounds of treatment, each one lasting 3 weeks with 2 double sessions of IV and a rattling jar of allsorts to take inbetween. And no porridge. He's not going to be happy about that let me tell you.

Every cloud though, I was able to tell Dad I passed my fundraising target of £500 for Macmillan today. There's a few blippers to thank for getting there too, which I'll do more formally another time. But thank you, you know who you are :)
