Last Snow?

Well the forecast of snow had changed to a forecast of rain overnight thankfully, although the trains were still delayed but as they are regular I still managed to get into Leeds in plenty of time for work.

The recent snow and ice is keeping us busy with a long list of patients waiting to for bones to be fixed in theatre, often having to go home and wait due to the lack of beds. Most of my day has been spent in theatre. They say that side effects of the covid vaccine are good as it's your immune system working. I woke in the night feeling very hot and have felt hot and feverish for the rest of the day. Good, but not much fun in full PPE for several hours!
