Soggy Fields

The forecast snow was replaced by sleet and rain. Neither of us fancied facing the elements this morning.

It had brightened up a bit in the afternoon so I went for a wander with the camera and Richard took Jet for a shortened walk on the lead.

Everywhere was saturated as indicated by this photo. Thank goodness for the flood works - which slows the runoff into the streams and rivers.
