Very British
I waited for my outdoor kick until late afternoon after watching a few people leave their houses only to reverse their slippery route after a few yards. I cracked on with my planning for next week instead.
The snow is now melting off the moors at a rate of knots that the rivers will hopefully keep up with and the fields are slushy mud baths.
I knelt down and inspected a few remnants of pretty ice formations on my way round and generally took my time in the open space I had to myself.
