Thawing Slowly

Surfaces were extremely icy and slippery this morning after sub zero temperatures overnight. My outside walk was delayed until after lunch by which time it was beginning to thaw! It was still hard going in places and I walked in the road a lot of the time. The slipping and sliding has inflamed my knee again...so I may have to administer some home brewed analgesic later. It is currently chilling in the fridge.....

Lamb rogan josh for tea, I left it cooking while I was out...house smells wonderful now.
