Happy Greylags

What a delightful change to have some blue sky this morning! We took our walk along the modern stately home of Swinhay, and these greylags were sunning themselves beside one of the lakes.

Thanks for your kind words regarding my brother. He appears to be managing, and hopefully soon will be on the other side of it. Coincidentally my mother, who had worried the vaccine might infringe her christian ethics, has decided she will have the vaccine when offered, which is a relief.

The extra is of the Tyndale monument at North Nibley, erected to commemorate local lad William Tyndale, who was strangled to death then burned at the stake for the crime of translating the bible into English.
