Wet and soggy
So last night did not quite go according to plan - I booked the dinner take away delivery for 7.30 but it arrived at 5.30. I was able to keep the food warm until we were ready to eat so that was okay. It was delicious though! Then the movie I was looking forward to watching on Netflix, (The Dig) has not dropped yet and is only due at the end of the month. So we watched Testament of Youth instead which was very good.
When I went to bed last night the weather forecast predicted 'heavy snow' for this morning - I woke up early all excited to see snow and yes, you guessed it, no snow but just rain and more rain. Another walk with lots of puddles and mud, and so another photo of the wet conditions.
It is quiet at home since Luke moved back to London and Adam to Cambridge. Luke is having weekly PCR Covid tests as part of a voluntary study for the ONS (office of national statistics) and is keeping safe in a very quiet London. Tommy is working hard as he has mock exams next week when the university term starts. It looks like he will be home for the entire term until Easter, attending lectures, supervisions and lab practicals online. However if they wish to go back to university to rather work there they can apply and rather study from there.
