Trains

I’ve lived alongside this railway line - the trans Pennine route for most of my life, the first 20 years with my parents, before moving away to train as a nurse. On my return to my home town I bought a house about a mile up the line from my parents. I never even notice the sound of the trains, it is just part of the fabric of my life.
