Blue sky

The sky cleared for a while this morning so another bathroom window series blip standing in the ( empty!) bath to see over the wall of snow on the ledge. 
The thumbnail shows the top of our ski area were we would normally have been several times by this stage of the season. This year we are steering clear of downhill skiing ( due to being on lifts close to other people and queues even though ' social distanced').  

We needed a long overdue visit to the tip this morning and drove past huge queues for the ski lift and all car parks full by 10 am....we expected it to be busy with all the fresh snow but shocked by just how many people. We have more restrictions from Monday but ski lifts remaining open. Luckily we had the tip totally to ourselves. 

A walk in the forest, snow clearing, topping up logs for a fire.....and a quiet afternoon at home.
