Life through the lens...

Footprints in the snow.

The snow is melting fast, although quite treacherous on many of the paths, as the compacted snow has frozen, but the top layer is now water. Making for a difficult walk down to get the Yorkshire Post, and a new battery for my weighing scales. Can’t do without those!

Coming through the gate, to where we park the car, I noticed these prints in the snow, and also a pile of you know what!
I think it may have been a rabbit. Has anyone else any ideas? See extra.

I really got annoyed this morning watching Saturday Kitchen.
They were showing meals you could have delivered, which were partly cooked for you to finish off at home.
The cheapest was £50 for two people, and the
most expensive, from Yorkshire chef Tommy Banks, was £120. for two.
I nearly exploded! You must be joking!
What really upset me was the fact that a few minutes earlier I had been watching a lady on the news who had to provide 5 meals for her child, for £15.
Now I would very much like the chefs to come up with a meal plan for her on next week’s programme.
Oh, and when I looked on Tommy Banks website, found they had sold out!

PS. For lunch we have just had beans on toast, topped with slices of tomato, and a piece of Christmas cake, and cheese.
Not sure of the price, but think may be £2 for two of us.
