Another Portrait

Pat is working on another portrait idea featuring yours truly. She is working from a photograph of me taken a few years ago at a portrait photography class at the local arts centre.

Thankfully, she has not asked me to model. My face is completely incapable of remaining still for any length of time.

It is now just over ten months since we last visited Edinburgh and the Scottish Art Club. Pat would attend a painting class in the morning and I would then meet her for lunch.

The virus has certainly changed our lives during these ten months.

Our local MSP and MP issue a weekly newsletter which advises any changes affecting our area.

If the vaccination timetable is adhered to we should both be jabbed in February.  We will take them as soon as they are offered.

We know that the repeated lockdowns are causing considerable distress to many people. We are very fortunate that we have a spacious home and garden. Also we have been working from home for nearly thirty years.

We have plenty of creative activities. We have a fine place to go for exercise and there are plenty of beaches to go and see the sea.

We are lucky.

There is no snow, and the day is very sunny. There is a chance of snow in the next few days. Still no indication of  BFTE2  in the next fourteen days.
