Running high

A muddy, rainy 11 mile run from my house, all within a 5 mile radius of home. I passed very few people all at some distance. Health and safety assured, I had a great run. Relaxing, challenging, exhilarating in equal measure.

Almost stopped for a coffee just before the suspension bridge but trudged on.

Lovely running high which is still being felt only punctured by my 15 year old son, who's just surfaced from bed at 11.34 demanding instant help with schoolwork and suggesting I'm lazy in not snapping to it. The joys of parenting!

I may be now on a go slow protest.

In school every day this week which wasn't quite the plan. It's keeping my sanity intact nevertheless.
