Lunchtime at Wombat Hollow

This majestic Yellow Tailed Black Cockatoo made himself right at home this afternoon in one of the Banksia bushes right outside the kitchen.  He was there for nearly an hour munching away on the Banksia flowers.  We couldn’t believe how happy he was to pose for the camera!!

I’m just about to take the Zatar Lemon Chicken out of the ovens.  This is one of Yotam Ottelenghi’s recipes and I was lucky enough to have tasted it when I was down at Jindabyne last week.  I’m just hoping I can do it justice.  I’ll take a photo and post it as an extra tomorrow!!

Me’s oldest son James is here for an overnight stay in lieu of the fact that we had to cancel our Christmas celebration because of our Covid test.  I’m hoping it impresses :)
